Straight answers about what PRIVATELYWORN is, how the marketplace is designed to work, and which launch features are intentionally still gated.
The marketplace build is active, but real payment charging, seller payouts and third-party age/identity verification remain disabled until approved providers are connected. No page should pretend otherwise.
What can be bought and sold?
PRIVATELYWORN is designed for lawful physical worn and unwashed garments such as underwear, lingerie, briefs, boxers, socks, tights and stockings, subject to marketplace rules and final launch-country restrictions.
Is PRIVATELYWORN only for women selling to men?
No. The marketplace is deliberately inclusive. Adults of any gender can buy and sell, including same-sex buyer/seller combinations.
Do sellers have to be adults?
Yes. The production model requires adult sellers and seller age/identity verification before marketplace approval. A browsing acknowledgement is not a substitute for real verification.
Can buyers and sellers exchange phone numbers or move payments off-platform?
The protected marketplace is designed to keep conversations, orders and payments on-platform. Contact-detail and payment-circumvention attempts are screened because moving off-platform weakens privacy and buyer/seller protection.
Are listing photos moderated?
Yes. Submitted listing images have moderation states. Only approved listing imagery should be publicly resolved through the marketplace image service.
Can I request something specific?
Yes. Buyers can use the Wanted board for structured requests, and sellers can respond with offers. Direct custom-order requests can also be managed through seller storefronts where enabled.
How are sellers reviewed?
PRIVATELYWORN is designed around transaction-linked reviews and separate seller-trust status. Trusted Seller decisions remain manual and use verified account and marketplace-history signals.
How will shipping work?
The intended flow requires tracked delivery, seller dispatch evidence and order-linked tracking. Sellers can define domestic/international shipping preferences and discreet-packaging settings.
Can I pay by card or crypto?
The checkout architecture supports card and crypto adapter slots, but real charging remains disabled until an approved provider has underwritten the exact marketplace model. The site must refuse to fake payment success while that gate is closed.
What happens if an order does not arrive?
The order/dispute architecture supports tracked-delivery investigation, dispute review and refund approval records. Actual money is not marked returned until a connected payment provider confirms the refund.
What personal information is public?
Public seller identity is designed to use a marketplace profile or anonymous marketplace handle rather than exposing private account contact details. Delivery addresses, messages and account records are private authenticated surfaces.
Does PRIVATELYWORN store identity documents?
The intended design is data-minimised: where possible an external verifier should return a verification result/reference rather than PRIVATELYWORN retaining unnecessary passport or selfie files.
